Oh, and poohball: Congratulations, you're the newest member of my blocked user list.
I can do push pull on the Noctua fan, and the Antec Tri cool. Sadly, I don't have 2 of the San Ace 1011's and they're about impossible to find, and $25 a pop.

keep dreaming the Noc can beat HDT. It may get close to performance with 1 extra heatpipe, but beat it? hah.

Fail.

Those are all different reviews done by different people in different conditions. WAY too much room for error.

I'm trying to come up with the money to buy the Xig now. I just need to silence this talk once and for all.

That's fine. You could just add one of the tricools and we can guesstimate what the temps would be with another San Ace.

The san ace actually pushes SO much air through the heatsink that if i put my hand on the side its pushing the air out of, it feels like there's not even a heatsink there lol. If i had to make a guess, there's probably no benefit to having 2 san aces on there, but with lower speed 120x25mm fans, i think there will be improvement with 2 fans.

Can't seem to find the block button lol or i would. Thought you could only do that in chat...

How so? it won't even beat S1283 or vendetta 2. stop dreaming.
Wake up please, the HDT coolers do very well at heat loads of less than 150-175w, anything more and they can't keep up like the TRUE or the Noctua, this has been tested before(HDT vs TRUE), and the true comes out on top.
Gimme a minute and I will find it.

Well if youre stuck with a Noctua, drop the ambient a couple degrees and you have similar performance. People usually dont have both HSFs at once. I'm all in for an unbiased test here ljason8eg.

poohball, try not to be a wiseass, maybe youre right maybe youre not but most of us here at OCN likes to test stuff out by ourselves. Theres a reason to why google finds this forum almost whatever you search in enthusiast components/modding/overclocking...... Its called enthusiasm.

You're not going to change my mind. So you think i should just not do everyone a favor and test them because of one simple review? Right...I don't believe everything I read.
Yes Jason, please test it, I am really eager to see how you can yield better result or how Noctua can ignore law of physics when it comes to heat dispense.

I already know what will be the result for a 4heatpipe cooler stack againt 3heatpipe HDT cooler. with a 1200-1300rpm fan, the 4 heatpipe will be close to 3 heatpie HDT at best. Let see your result.

Yes i'm going to be totally unbiased. I really could care less if the noctua gets beat cause i'm keeping the TRUE anyway. I really want to throw the xig in here...maybe if i could find someone local that wants a build...I could just test the cooler before i give it to them lol.
