Personally, I think the unmodded results would be the most important for an in-case test. From what I gathered in the OP, you wanted to see how the coolers compare at stock. So, it doesn't make sense to me that you would not test this condition to the fullest extent. Personally, I would do the unmodded and fully modded test in the case, and run all three tests out of the case.

No, that was a one-time bench session when I had my water loop. I wanted to join the 4ghz club.
![]() With the Noctua, I'm at 3.4ghz w/ 1.4v right now. Needs some tuning though. I just haven't had time to play with it.

Ok so here's what I've got lined up for testing.
Coolers: TRUE Noctua NH-U12P Xig Dark Knight Tests (i suppose all can be done in case and out of case) 1) Out of box performance, using the included fan with the noctua and xig. (what fan should i use on the TRUE for this test?) 2) All coolers stock with low/med/high speed fans 3) All coolers lapped with low/med/high speed fans 4) All coolers lapped and pressure modded with low/med/high speed fans Too many tests? I leave anything out?

The tests are still a couple weeks away. I need the TRUE and Xig to get here first.

Nope, that all looks good, though just a small question; would you do the fan tests with one fan each, or with push-pull on each? Whichever you did, would it be fine to do both single fan and push-pull for those tests?
