Interested in testing a copper TRUE? One *just* got mailed to me today, and it's going to be a few weeks before I get all the other parts to build up my rig. I'd kinda like to see how it stacks up.

I was gonna do 20 mins, but the noctua stock maxed out at about 8 mins..then i had to shut down cause the table was smoking from the heat from the MOSFETs LOL!!! So i'm gonna have to retest with some risers on the board.

The table doesn't look burnt lol. It's some sort of plastic surface. I do have some noctua pics with the stock fan though! I'll get them up

Ok it seems good now. Just a tester. I tested my lapped/modded noctua with the san ace fan, just for fun before i started.

I put the BONE STOCK new noctua on. it's 13C warmer under load!!

1.36V for 3.7ghz?

That's a golden chip!

Most Q6600's need around 1.5V to get that. The low voltage might change which CPU comes on top. For the TRUE vs Vendetta 2 though I found it stayed steady enough from 1.32V to 1.45V.

Ok. Noctua stock testing done. Raw results will be in the FIRST POST along with pics. I'll make a graph after all are done bone stock.

It loaded at 72C with the noctua on stock. The chip runs REALLY hot, and i don't want to kill it lol. I would use more volts if i could.
