Yate Loon = $5

Noctua P12 = $25

And the Yate beats it on a rad which can be similar to a heatsink...... FAIL.

Why do people always say this? There are several people on this forum that use lower speed fans with the TRUE, and love it. This "jet engine/turbine" argument is getting old fast.

This was exactly my attitude until i bought a 46DB fan without a fan controller and actually developed headaches from it.

hmm, Xig's are quite cheap in my zone (23 euros for the regular one, plus 6 euros for the backplate), Vendetta 2's are 42 euros, TRUE (which i already have) is 65... noctua is 59 so its out of my reach, but the Xig is still damn well in range, besides, i could use all these coolers for side builds

I was thinking about my CPU being lapped and it skewing the results, but come to think of it, it really wouldn't. If anything it would help them because if it wasn't lapped, the IHS could be in a range from flat, to not so flat.

hah, funny.
btw, S1283 already proven match True at 1300 rpm. dig up the post here, it was hot topic.
seems like Noc paying good for marketing campaign so this standard regular 4 heatpipe cooler can magically dispense heat better than others lol.

Noc can't even beat vendetta 2 or S1283.

and I use RS1283 cuz i want nickle plated and orange led fan. go dig up more post.

The noctua is better than your xig. It has more heatpipes and more surface area. Get your facts straight.

The Xig won't match the TRUE either. TRUE has twice the heatpipes and more surface area.
