What's so funny about what I said? It's factual information.

So are you going to just sit in here and spam my thread with false information that you make no attempt to even prove? Yeah..that makes you look real cool.

I need to find a Xig to borrow now, just to show you that it doesn't quite stack up with the big boys.

if one is lapped, the other one will have to be lapped also so that it is a fair test. Same goes for any washer mods.

I'm aware of this. Both will be tested with all 3 fans unlapped, then i will lap both and washer mod them, then retest with the same 3 fans.

I know my noctua is already lapped, but i have another one coming today that is unlapped because it's new, so that will be the one used for the test.

"It has more heatpipes and more surface area. Get your facts straight."

more heatpipe sure, Xig HDT is known for beating cooler with more heatpipe
cuz of HDT. "more surface area" ???????? you need to get your facts straight.

"The xig won't match the true either. True has twice the heatpipes and more surface area."

do yourself a favourite. there were many posts regarding this in this board.

I think you can do yourself a favor and stop replying in my thread until YOU get your facts straight. You DO understand how air cooling works correct? I don't care how good you think the Xig is, it's not magically better than a cooler that has twice the heatpipes and more surface area. So you're saying that the Xig has MORE surface area than the TRUE, correct? If that was the case then EVERYONE here would have your beloved Xig instead of the TRUE because it's about half the cost and already comes with a fan and doesn't need to be lapped.

Again..show me the proof please.

Man keep trying. This has been talked about to death long time ago.
Xigmatek and TRUE will perform about the same at 1300rpm, once you put a stronger fan (ie. kaze) TRUE will perform better due to more air resist etc.
this has been proven, do your damn search on google or this board.

HDT is about effectiveness and yse its been proven. you go do your search before you post more false information please. There is plenty of resouces on this board, just do a search will ya?

I'm not trying at all. You have supplied no proof, therefore anything you're telling me i'm just not going to believe, because of your attidude and general ignorance of the subject we're talking about.

You're the one coming into MY thread and taking a crap on it. Go show me this info. Was it done by a member, or by a review site?

I don't need all your rude comments on my project. I'm trying to do the community a favor with these tests, and you just want to try and one up me with your posts. Nice try.

The TRUE is nothing until it's lapped. A stock TRUE would equal the performance of a regular HDT heatsink. Get YOUR facts straight.

too lazy to search? I guess thats why you don't know what is going on huh?
I am not gonna beat a deadhorse with you here so you can try to praise your Noctua. I will say that again, your Noc doesn't sucks. It is a nice looking cooler that cools average, and thats all.
