Default will Xigmatek Dark Knight cool a Q9550 when OC'd to 3.5-3.6GHz?
Hey.
Will a Xigmatek Dark Knight be enough to cool a Q9550 at a 3.6 GHz overclock, or will I have to buy a TRUE or a Noctua?

For 3.5-3.6 it should be fine

At 3.6ghz its fine but other than that if your going to push it more than get like a TRUE.

That cooler will do just fine. The only difference between the 2 you suggested and the one you are talking about is 1-2c.

The Dark Knight won't hold back any OC's. It should cool fine to max out your chip.

Obviously... the TRUE will be about 5c cooler (after lapping/modding/etc)... but it shouldn't stop you from an OC.
