I have totally mismatched fans in push-pull setups and I've never had one fail after running them for 6+ months. I wouldn't worry that much, worst case you're replacing one in a long time.

S-Flex fan's have low static pressure so they are bad for heatsinks/radiators. They are good for open air like case fans though.

My S-Flex SFF21F performs within about 2-3c of my Panaflo H1 spinning at the same RPM on my SI-128 SE.

They have great static pressure for 25mm fans. (the san ace in this test is at 5v, pretty much showing how superior a 38mm fan is).

I get the same temps on my CPU with a Scythe S-Flex G 75FM as I do with my Panaflo 114.7CFM
S-Flex is about the best fan out there right now.

We'll see about that. Instead of ordering S-Flex's for my front intake fans I went a different route and got some San Aces. I'm hoping they're as good as my 1011's for static pressure, noise and undervolting. (on a 25mm level of course, so I'm not expecting 38mm performance but at least the equivalent for a 25mm fan).

I think you are confused with slipstreams, they are FAIL on a rad/heatsink but ok in open air. while the S-Flex's are one of the best 25mm thick fans to use on a heatsink or rad.

This is why we use fan controllers. Performance when we need it, quietness when we don't.

I'd be very curious as to how those measure up to the S-Flex.
