Fridge cooling
Hi, I have an idea, has anyone tried fridge/refrigerator cooling by putting one's computer into a fridge? I don't mean that huge fridge, I mean the small one, or maybe a freezer? Thanks.

There would be too much condensation. Phase change cooling uses the same type of cooling used in refrigerators though, but its applied directly to the cpu core.

Wont work because the fridge cant handle the constant output of heat coming from the computer.
(The fridge will die)

the compressor would burn out in a matter of hours as it is designed to keep cold things cold, not remove 200-400W of heat 24/7, tghis have been mentioned hundreds of times before. Also pls remove your sig as it violates the ToS of this site

the closest idea is phase change..but that only cools the CPU....
Sytrin Nextherm has made a PC that uses a peltier to bring in cool air into the whole computer case itself if ur really interested in a "Air conditioned" PC
