Default Xigmatek hdt-s1283
hi,
i have a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283, but recently the rubber fan mounts are no longer able to keep the fan in place as i have tested different fans on the heatsink.there is no where i can find the rubber mounts.will the true 120 fan clips work on this heatsink ?..or is there an alternative to mounting the fan to the heatsink ?.

check on Xigmatek's website if they sell them there if not email them they will probably mail you a set for free. OCZ sent me a free set for my Vendetta 2

You can try zip ties. When I had a TRUE I ran the ties through the fins on the heatsink.

I had that inside an Antec P182, when ever I wanted to switch fans or take the heatsink out I had to take out the motherboard. There just wasn't enough room inside the case to do anything.
