Default what chipset coolers should i use?

Hey guys,

I'm lookin into getting new coolers for my nb, sb, and mosfets, and this is what i got selected so far...

NB - Thermalright HR-05 http://www.petrastechshop.com/thhrhrislich.html $25.99

SB - EnzoTech CNB-S1L http://www.petrastechshop.com/encnonfocoso.html $14.99

Mosfets - EnzoTech MST-81 http://www.petrastechshop.com/enmshekit.html $13.95 ea

Does that look good? Or would you guys recommend something else?

If this is for your 780i the mosfet and NB coolers won't work. NVIDIA uses proprietary mounting for the NB, also under the cooler is both the nForce 200 and NB so you need to be able to cool both (which only one air cooler has done but I haven't seen any sites selling it).

Next you need a mostfet cooler compatible with the 780i.

hmm. I guess I could just take everything off and cut off the pipe leading to the south bridge and mosfets. I'm pretty sure thermalright's hr-09 type 4 is compatible, too bad it's a little bit more expensive.

That's quite depressing that I can't put an aftermarket heatsink on the nb

Edit: after cutting off the heat pipe, I would fill it with a lead free solder... that should work
