What are you expecting to do with that cooler? Is it for some Pentium D on stock? Or are you trying to get a Q9650 at 4ghz?
__________________If you ever plan on overclocking, get a Xigmatek S1283. Its the best budget cooler out there, made even better with the "Dark Knight" version that comes with a bolt-through kit (back brace for your motherboard).

That cooler isn't really rated for quad-cores, or even hot running dual-cores. Also while Gigabyte makes great motherboards they're not the best at ANYthing cooling, not even motherboard cooling.
