Reseat, and make sure you have fans as intake as well as exhaust... You may just not have enough intake..

Why do you say that? because of the price tag? they are actually sub par heatsink fans with low cfm AND static pressure. http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling...noctua-nh.html If you look here a proper fan dropped his load temps on a NH-U12P a full 5C, that is a lot. ![]() There, proof that the noctua fans suck on a heatsink. An S-Flex (half the price) or even a yateloon (one fourth of the price!) would perform better on a heatsink or rad. Im sick of people raving about them, just because they price them at $25 each doesnt mean they are "amazing" fans.

Silent computing comes with a price, and that's not as good cooling as the standard method (can get reasonably close, but don't compare the cooling of it to HSF used in extreme overclocking. Different genre). |

at 28DB $25 Noctua pushes 30CFM $5 Yate Loon pushes 37 CFM So the cheaper fan pushes more cfm at the same DB..... Still no reason to call the noctua fans anything near amazing.

well if the inside of your case is 33*C-35*C, then you have some very poor cooling in your computer. you need to get more airflow going and then you'll notice better temps. and yes a reseat my be required to get even better temps.

I've also noticed that this cooler performs better with lower ambient room temps.
