Default OCZ Vendetta 2 With OCZ Retention Brackets

Temps of E6750 w/ Push-pins (If you can't see it clearly, scroll down)

The Products

The Parts:

Retention Bracket

Finished

Tests (Check thumbnails, the second one)

Conclusions
3.6 w/o Retention Brakets -> Idle - 30C Load - 57C
3.6 w/ Retention Brakets --> Idle - 27C Load - 58C

Idle temps are better by 3C but load tems are up by 1C. I think I didn't apply thermal paste correctly thats why load temps are 1C higher. Not too bad, could be better. If I have time I might reapply TIM. Thanks guys for staying tuned. Now i'm gonna go for 4.0GHz

Subscribed! I'm really interested in the results as I'm planning on getting a retention bracket at some point.

Interesting. I just bought the xigamatech one for my vendetta. Haven't test it yet but much more secure than push pins. Waiting for your results =]

I use the Xigmatek bracket for my Vendetta 2, works great. I'll be checking back here later.

Sexy bracket

I had to cut some off the black part of my pushpins to stop the thing bending my board severely! So this looks a much better job.

The base of my cooler (Gladiator Max) was not very flat - how was your Vendetta?
