Hi All,
__________________So I have a couple pretty beefy 120mm fans (well over 100cfm). I set them up pretty normally (intake in the front bottom, exhaust high in the back) and showed a friend of mine and he warned me that my setup might have TOO MUCH airflow and the stream will bypass the the hot air close to the mb. Is there truth to this?

never too much air flow, unless you are blowing caps and stuff off your boards, then you may have too much.

Unless you can get the airspeed past 145 MPH (which is too much and impossible to do with case fans) you are alright.

There's no problem of too much airflow but poor positioning and cable management can cause turbulence. You'll have to figure out what's the best configuration to get the most out of your fans.

You can never have enough air flow.

Only time it's too much airflow is when your roof buckles when you turn your PC on...
