But a bad design IMO, most enthusiast use 120/38mm.
Prolimatech should know this.

You know, the TRUE could cool you down, lol. Man that sucks. I had hopes for this thread as well as the mega. I am still interested in it's abilities on the i7. Right now my X58 evga is sent out for step up so maybe it will fit on my temp board the Asus P6T? Where did you get it and how much did it cost?

Sweet, I can't wait to see the results, as I will probably be buying a new haetsink soon. I think I kinda messed up my 9700led by scratching the bottom and trying to fix it with a half-assed lap job with 1500 grit sand paper... but on my table...not glass. It's not shiny anymore, oh well.

yea I'm surprised the 38mm fan setup gave you problems, and that they didn't think of that direction for fans...all the other ones are somewhat expected for any larger aftermarket heatsink though.....

good luck!

The other 2 strikes...meh. This one...wth, seriously. As you said, they should know the target audience is going to be using 120x38mm fans.
