Very impressive, but from the size, not entirely unexpected. Similar design + bigger = superior cooling. It's borderline DUH.

Are those 6 or 8mm heatpipes on the Megahalem?

I don't even see how the lack of 38mm mounting clips is even a big issue? Anyone with any technical/mechanical skill in the slightest can mount a fan to that heatsink, and do it better than Thermalright's clips.
