Just because you have a Q6600 doesn't mean your temperatures will be the same, even if the ambient temps/ CPU clock/ CPU voltage are exactly the same. Every CPU is different, even if they have the same name.

Plus, an i7 produces FAR more heat than a Q6600. Your temps are actually way too high for 3.0 and that cooler.

Oh crap he has an I7? i didn't see his specs so i didn't know lol. Sorry, my fault. I know different CPUs get different temps i just wanted to tease if he had a quad that wasn't an I7. I have a quick question about pressure modding and lapping, which one is the best and how do you do it?

well yeah of course, if it did then there would be almost no sales for the lower end ones... but double the price for a few C decrease?

A few C is all you might need to push an overclock farther.

well usually when you double the price of a GPU you get at least 80% more power (two graphics cards instead of one is exactly double

)

can't say the same for high end coolers. 80% better cooling? 50% better cooling? hell even 20% better cooling? I wish.

80%? More like 50% on average, on a high resolution. According to your logic, water cooling must be worthless then. Way more expensive than air cooling compared to the increase in cooling power.
