Default 780i Northbridge Fan Comparison w/PICS

Thought some of you guys might be interested.

I tried 3 setups: Double OCZ 60mm fans, single 80mm fan, and the ever-popular Antec Spotcool.

First of all, here are the sinks.

Got dusty on other angle

Alright, here's the OCZs. Sexiest IMO.

Spotcool at max rpm

Sorry about the pics, was in a hurry!

Exact same result.

Now for the 80mm Antec triple-LED thing:

We have a winner! ^

It's about the same noise as the Tricool at max

When I had mine, I stuck a very simpl NB cooler on the side of the triangular/raised portion of the heatsink and placed a 80mm fan so that it went past the side of the cooler and blew air on that extra heatsink as well.

Still couldnt get below 55C I think.
