ok great...what bolts did you guys end up going with ..M3, M4 or 6-32 and what length works the best...appreciate it

6-32, 3/4in long. The screws that hold down the plastic bracket on the AMD boards is only 1/2in long and with the height of the mount being screwed to the Xiggy you need longer screws to reach the board.

ok so the way you make it sound is you are going thru the bracket down to the MOBO. Not up thru the back of the MOBO to the bracket..correct?

You can get one made by someone else for cheaper. I use a bolts though kit for mine, but it is some other brand that was about half the cost.

Yes. I put the bolt through the metal custom mount and into the mobo. Just like the regular plastic bracket was mounted. Hell, I didn't even need to remove the mobo to do so. The backplate only wiggled around a bit but sat in place.

The mount hardly cost anything. It was comparable to a similar setup on Newegg.
