@ltar, youre not using any springs, washers, or nuts, wont that make it less secure/ pressure on the mounting?

you don't have to actually use the springs or what not.. if you can find a regular 6-32 screw that has a phillips head you can just screw it down into a backplate.. i don't use the spring any more when i do my pressure mounts..

I am also interested in buying on as I am looking to do a AM3 board set-up and it looks cooler to have it sideways.

Are these still for-sale? Please let me know anyway possible.

all is well nafy, i went back to home depot and bought 1 1/2 inch 6-32's and they fit perfectly even with couple of nuts/ washers on it. the 1 1/4 will fit better tho i think because of more open room so that ppl can put the big golden nut on to screw under the heatsink/fan. but yea, i bought both, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 incase when one doesnt fit too well. now just gotta wait for win7 to finish installing. thru this experience ive learnt how to not use a backplate. what a trip..to hell. but i got it down now. lol

Hello guys i'm new and stumbled across overclockers.net forums thanks to my xigmatek dark knight in hopes of finding a proper way to mount it. just wondering what the going rate is on one of the mounting kits? and how i can get in contact with nafljhy since the pm function seems to be missing.
