Default Just picked up a Megahalem!

Just grabbed a Megahalem off of Jab-Tech, I was waiting for them to come back in stock. I also picked up a fan, anything I should know about this cooler? Any tips or tricks? I should be installing it this weekend, let me know!

Also celebrate with me and share my excitement for finally getting my hands on an optimus prime

Edit: I'm pairing it with a Scythe Slip-Stream 1900RPM 110CFM (SY1225SL12SH), anyone have experience with this fan and the optimus?

Edit 2: If anyone is curious, and researching, two things sold me on the megahalems, obviously it's good reviews, I don't even include that. The megahalems mounting system is extremely attractive, as is the fact that you don't need to lap it, in fact Prolimatech encourages you not to.

I'd get some washers to add more pressure if you want.

Yes I have a job, I'll be splurging on some washers... a penny? HardOCP had some nice pictures on installation, I got that down. I appreciate the links though. Never done a pressure mod, I understand the principle, but I am unfamiliar, so the tutorials will help out.

it fits nice and snug with out any movement so pressure modding is not required imo.

Nice, I really want to try one

I'd ditch the 1900rpm Slipstream if I was you, I've had two die on me and heard bad things from other people about them too. You would be better off with a Ultra kaze 2000 or San ace/Panaflo if you can get hold of one.

Really? I thought the slipstreams were pretty well liked all around. Thanks for the tip, I'll pick up another fan so I'm not stuck without a fan if this one fails.

why would you need to pressure mod this cooler? I found it very tight even without anything under the top holding bar.
