Intel Overclocker

I know that there are a lot of variables to consider but with my lapped TRUE I get about the same temps at 4.2GHz and 1.40v. The V10 is an ungly sucker but seems to perform pretty well. The placement of the RAM fan is awesome.

I ran Intel Burn Test 2 and was told to set it to 16 threads. It run quite a bit hotter and stresses the cpu to 99.6%. it was a bit scary but test is only like 2.5 minutes long and i passes at current settings

I now have a new model for what to do when I build myself a HAF rig. Love the placement of the Airflow fans.
Is there any way to set the TEC so it kicks in earlier? Pretty sure a 1kW PSU could handle a TEC running damn near constantly.

Only way I can see would be to replace the tec controller/sensor with a different one or mod the one thats there. I saw some review site mod their controller but they kinda bungled it

The internet.
Sorry, couldn't resist... @bob: That would be really cool. It would more than justify the $120 price tag then.

1 x *** HOT *** Cooler Master RR-B2P-UV10-GP Hybrid PWM TEC CPU Cooler - AMD AM2, K8 & Intel LGA1366/775 $99.95 2 x Noctua (NF-P12-1300 )1300rpm Premium Silent 120mm Fan - Sleeved - Sleeve Color: Black - Heatshrink Color: Black $43.90 And he sleeves all the cables for free I was impressed by Hank's service and reccomend PPC's as a newegg alternativeI got v10 and fans for $144 newegg wanted $140 just for the v10. I could probably get quite a bit lower temps with stock fans since they push alot more air and are cpu controlled but i didnt want a jet engine in my case. so i put in the very quiet noctua fans that run at 1300rpm at all times. stock ones go up to 2400 rpm i think @ 68dBA
