Question Suggest Led Case Fan

Hey, I need a side fan for my antec 900. I need a blue led light and I want to have high output with low sound. This will be mounted on the window. I really don't want to exceed $10 before shipping. I have a few fans that seem good, but I'm not sure. Cooler Master or Yate Loon. I know this is a really stupid question, but do you mount the fan so it blows into or out of the case?

The Antec Tri-cool fans are decent contenders, but it is a tall order wanting fans that have high cfm and low dba.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at that fan, but it's a bit out of my price range. Maybe I could find one used here.

Here are some more options.

(note that the lower the cost, the lower the cfm...mostly)

that CoolerMaster 19dba rating is misleading at 90CFM its about 30-35 range 19 would be when the fan is undervolted using a fan controller. The normal fan setup is usually front, side and bottom are intakes, back and top exhaust.

I would get get a low/medium speed blue led Yate loon. Very cheap but effective.

second this, also a fan controller if you dont have one already

just one thing though, there is no such fan as high cfm with low dBa

so you have to balance things out

K, I think I'll go with the loon I recommended. Will this fan controller suffice, or should I go with something cheaper? (I have all stock antec fans with 3 speed controls)

Thats about the best fan controller you can get. Or you can get the 4-channel version if you don't need 6 channels. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811998808

I just don't see how any more than 1 controller would be useful b/c only 1 fan does not have a 3 speed variable controller. Thanks for the continued help.
