Just push the fan up slightly above the memory sticks, it shouldn't hit them at all... Unless the fan is hitting your case side panel.
__________________On the Mugen 2, you can raise/lower the fan pretty easily...

you can try shaving off some of the Heat Spreader and heatsink maybe, if the contact is really close. man that cooler is a big piece of metal, im glad im on a true

Just a tipoff i got Mugen 2 2 days ago. In the start i thought i installed it pretty good,but i was getting ~40 idle ~56 full load,at 1.475 Vcore(Through Overdriver,actual is more like 1.424-1.45.
I decided to take it off remove that glue thingy and apply it again,screw the drivers better etc etc. I got an impressive 27 Idle 40 Load. Never seen over ~41 now even after stressing for couple of hours. So if you are getting over~45 full and 30 idle my suggestion is try to install it again... 15 degrees lower is like huge... |
