I'm thinking of ordering 4 of these because they're very cheap and the color I want but I can't help but believe there's some sort of catch. Also, can anyone take a guess at what company this is? The manufacturer # has ACE in it so maybe san Ace? Please help guys I'd like to order in next couple hours. Also, AS LONG AS I HAVE A 3 TO 4 PIN ADAPTER, THESE FANS WILL WORK FINE WITH 4 PIN MOLEX, RIGHT?

Well, I looked everywhere on San Ace's website and couldn't find any fans like that. However, any search done on that model number brings back countless hits about San Ace fans... Not sure if that's any help, but personally...I like the looks of the fan, I like clear/white leds. However I would not count on them being San Aces (at least labeled San Aces) as I have never seen any San Ace fan without a giant label in the center that states that.

Well from the URL it's saying that these are supposed to be Yate Loon fans. I've never seen anyone carry such high speed white LED Yate's before, but I've come to learn that they have many different models.
__________________As boebi said, they're going to be loud, especially due to the clear plastic that LED fans traditionally use, which tend to resonate a particular audible pitch that normal fans don't seem to have. So be prepared for the noise. You can either hook them up to a fan controller to reduce the RPM's to make it more tolerable or volt mod them. Being that they are ball bearings though, they can be mounted in any orientation without fear of wearing down the bearings, unlike the other sleeve bearing Yates which tend to grind and buzz over time if mounted horizontally. Yate Loons in general tend to be very low cost for what they offer so if you don't mind the noise or have a way to manage it, they will work just fine. Plus with the free shipping it looks to be a pretty good deal overall. I say go for it.
