Ah cheers for the response trog

Assuming I have a truckload of 3pin to 4 pin connectors however, would I be able to daisy chain two san aces? I definitely have enough 3pin to 4pins lying around, I was wondering if setting the voltage through the FC to the first fan, would limit the second, daisy-chained fan to that same voltage and thus speed, as well?

I'm tired, so sorry if I'm not making any sense; Maybe I'm just missing something here, or maybe... I just need more awesome text-based diagrams!

Haha same, been stressed the last few weeks due to finals, but I just finished exams today! Still got all the caffeine in my system though :/

And since I have far too many 3pin to 4pins, that's probably what I'll try first. Out of curiosity however, is there any benefit to using splitters over this method, other than reducing the amount of cables required? It would not actually have any performance benefit/impact would it? Or reduce the life of any components involved etc. I do not think it would, but still unsure.

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't really think it would harm any of your components to have 2 fans per channel, be it daisy-chained or using a splitter. I can't think of any outright reason that using a splitter would be of any particular benefit either...

Yeah I can't really think of a reason why it would either, so I guess all thats left to do, is to sell the scythe and pick up the lamptron

Thanks for your replies, been a great help
