Not sure. I do not know what the height is needed for the Xiggy. The description says to use the type-s, but just to make sure contact performance-pcs they are pretty responsive. Give them about 1 days worth of time though.

And yes the Vendetta 2 is competitive with the Xiggy, but no it does not win when using the same fan. Your paragraph proves this since you are not affirmative enough when writing your statements. Also, there are many well written and objective heatsink reviews on the web that show the Xiggy edging out the Vendetta 2.

You've probably already figured it out since you ordered it for your TRUE but you'll need the type-x, it is for the am2 boards. the type-s is for older k8's

The Vendetta 2 is about 5C better than the 1283, and you can use the TRUE's bolt-thru kit.
