nVidia representative: PhysX, as seen in next-gen games like Batman:Arkham Asylum, PhysX makes your g200 based card BETTER than the 58XX series in all aspects. You'd be an idiot to buy ATI when you'd be forfeiting physX

when I first started using my IFX, i noticed only 1 degree difference when using the backside. The fins on the heatpipe are just too far away from the heat, so the thing stays cool all the time.

its a good freebie though lol, buying separate is like 20 bucks

I'll try to give it a shot at some point. Probably after I do the lapping. By that point I will hopefully have moved from AS5 to ICDiamond 7 and I will have reseated my north and southbridge cooling with the AS5. Have a couple 80mm fans to play with on the way with a Rheobus to control the Delta's as well so I will at least try the backside cooler with and without fans.

Bump for some pictures added over the weekend and some short term updates. Today my fan controller and two 80mm fans come in so I should be able to at least temporarily keep my northbridge cooled enough to get some real overclocking done.

Also, many of you may have heard the high RPM fans can easily cut you pretty bad if you are not carefull. I would like to reiterate that fact and I would also like to ad that you should not play with the while drinking. Thought that maybe I could cool the northbridge from a distance then I set the fan down and it blew itself over. I am currently missing a chunk of my middle finger but thankfully it is on the opposite side of the tip that I use to type with so it is all good.

Edit: Slow updates because of super awesome work, car problems, and house hunting. Had a chance to work with a new setup that involved some decent overvolting, the addition of my second fan, and adding an 80mm fan over my northbridge by placing my rig on its side and moving my 9800GT over a PCI x16 slot. I think that PCI x16 slot works at x8 though, I would move it to my other confirmed PCI x16 slot but the molex power I need is tied up to short for that distance. I will continue testing CPU overclocks and compare the results of benchmarks in both secondary blue and white PCI x16 slots.
