What cooler blows the most air over VRM's?
-Using stock fan -Using really loud earbusting fans that move a lot of air I would imagine that it'd be a downdraft cooler

Fans that come with the cooler
ex. The orange fan that come with the Big Typhoon, Noctua NH-C12 and the brown fan that comes with it..etc

On the motherboard or video card?
__________________On the motherboard the air is usually from the cpu cooler or a pull from the back case fan(if you have that). A downward, or perpendicular(airflow) coolers like the stock one, move the most air over the VRMs on the motherboard. Do note that the stock coolers suck. On the video card with a slot cooler the base is usually what is contacting the VRMs and the air goes over it. Not great cooling for the VRMs, but seems to work for most cards.

I don't understand what you are asking. But I think it depends on the CFM of the stock fan.

You're question still isn't very clear
.... Can you clarify yourself? It can either mean you want a stock VGA cooler to cool down your graphics card and you're asking which cooler design has the best airflow around the VRM chips, or you mean you want to cool down the parts around the CPU socket with a CPU-cooler... at least this is what my creativity makes of the few information provided. I still don't understand your questions however. Yes, a really loud airbusting fan will propably move more air over the VRM's than a stock fan, as such powerfull fan tends to move more air in the first place by definition/design. I hope this answers your two questions, though I wouldn't know why this would be usefull TBH. Perhaps you can also explain why you want to know this? Do you have a problem with the temps of your motherboard at this moment or something? |

Lemmie clarify
What CPU cooler blows the most air onto the VRM's? Like this for example ![]() (I believe it's called peripheral cooling?)

Read my post?
__________________Here is a suggestion: Noctua. You might want to switch the fan if your looking for more cfm. Just make sure that the case can fit it.

I had this cooler and it was awesome for a downdraft-style. It also has the option of extending another fan out over the side so you can have another fan blowing only on the mobo components. It's great.

You did not specify a specific cooler in that particular post
