Default Cable management? (56k nope)

I'm putting this in air cooling, since cable management is essential to air cooling (That and I didn't know where else to put it).

So, I need you guys to rate my cable management on a scale of 1 to 10. Mid tower + non modular = cables everywhere, lol. Any suggestions would also be appreciated.

Very Nice!

I don't know how much space is between the mobo and the tray it's mounted to. I usually run the cables going to the edges (USB, LED, Switches, etc) behind it and then to the front.

Get yourself some building material (Construction paper, okay. Sheet Metal, better!) that's the same color as your case and cut it into an L shape.

Put it over the Drivebay area and the bottom where the PSU is. It hides everything really well for cases with side windows.

Oh, that's a good idea! It doesn't matter right now though, because my Antec 300 doesn't have a side panel. I was thinking about modding it, though, just to see what would happen...

Not bad. Mine was like that before. But if you use a dremel, time, and a lot of sweat, you can do this with those cables:

Wow, that's really clean, Lord Xeb! I didn't know if cables would fit on the other side of the case, outside of the cable management box-area thing.

That black paint on the inside helps hide cables, too.

Yeah. Also you know on the back of the mobo try how it looks like an E? The very top part of that E, cut out a small retangular hole to feed your USB and front panel wires through that and under your mobo. Also your AUX. CPU power cable, go and cut a hole just on the other side of your PSU so you can route that cable around the side of the PSU and through the mobo tray. Then near the 4/8 plug is, cut a hole and have the cable run up under the mobo just a little bit (about maybe 2-3cm down from the mounting holes for you mobo) and cut a hole in the vertical part of the E and then plug her in. The cables for in that cubby hole, go and use zip ties to get them neat and pack them tight. And I flipped my drives around and had to put a few holes for my wires. but it works like a dream and is very clean. As for the PCIe AUX. power.... I have no idea what to do with them so I did my best to hide them. And for your CD (and so you can run your front panel cables out) cut a hole where that black tap is on my case were you see the front panel wires come out. That will let you do a few extra holes to hid wires

Also I am going to be repainting. I didn't do it right so now I am going to sand/strip and repaint the whole thing. I got 4 cans of enamel that I will use so about 1-2 coats per can. I wll be putting about 5-6 coats down.

Oh and hear is the really sad part. I have probably spent well over 20-30 hours getting those damn wires cleaned up (in total) and I have had maybe 3-4 revisions <.< That is just what i have ATM.
