I hear Zerotherm have a cooler special for the i7 chip. Take a look on their website for more information.

why do people still recommend to TRUE. It take extra effort to actually get it to cool right. Which is why i always recommend the megahalem aka Optimus Prime CPU cooler because it is the top one out there along with the IFX 14

so that means id need to purchase fans separately for use with the megahalem? should i use dual in push pull config? can you guys recommend me some fans pls...

How much you want to spend on fans? Do you have a fan controller? How much noise can you take?

I'd go with a single fan if using 120x38mm but most of those fans are loud without a controller. 2 fans can help if using 120x25mm fans. A couple of S Flex G models would be good. You'd probably want a fan controller though.

no i dont have a fan controller...i want some good fans...but dont wanna spend too much..as i have to buy a lap and other PC components as well!

i plan to get the megahalem off crazyPC with a 120mm fan...dyu reckon itd be enough? or should i get 2 fans? these Sflex are kinda expensive...are there any good ones for cheaper...or should i still buy these?

One S Flex would be fine if you don't want to spend too much. They're expensive because they're good quality. Cheaper fans use sleeve bearings which aren't as quiet and don't last as long.

just a thought...should the fan be placed towards the back of the case...or such that it blows through the HS to the back?

through the heatsink to the back, with an exhaust fan on the back of your case. Unless your doing push/pull.
