2 pins are. The 3rd pin just reports your rpm. The 4th just regulats your fan speed based on pc temps(just like the stock Intel fan) Since you have deltas, they take ALLOT more watts and you will need the Rheobus Extreme.

Thats it then. I just needed to know that 2 pins were controllable (I never knew what each pin was for) before i bought a Rheobus Extreme for no reason.

actually there is one last question, currently the exhaust fan on the back of the case is the stock CM fan. Will this fan inhibit the airflow out of the case? I ask because if i put the 2 deltas on my mega they will ponit right at this fan btu be operating at a higher rate of flow. I guess the rel question is not will it inhibit airflow so much as will it raise temps by not venting as fast?

It might,an easy test would be to mount a single Delta on the Mega and replace the CM fan with your other Delta.Check your temps. Then redo the test with one delta and one CM fan (with the CM on your case) and check your temps.

If your temps with Deltas only is lower, then the CM fan is a bottleneck. It's not perfect but I used the same test when I was deciding what to do with my 3rd Nexus fan (I only went up from ~1600 RPM to ~2000RPM) and seen a difference of a degree and a half

simple enough, I'll give it a try once I get the clips and controller in.
