Default Fan Question

Can any fan be used on a fan controller or is it only fans with specific types of connectors.

Since fan controllers modify the voltage then any fan as long as it's within the fan controller's wattage limits. In some cases you may need to get a converter cable or mod it yourself but that's it.

I just set up a controller in my Antec 900 and needed to make a Molex - 3-pin female adapter. You can see pics here: http://www.overclock.net/air-cooling...rollers-2.html

another stupid question, but can you over volt and burn up a fan with a controller or will it not go over the default voltage of the fan? Also, does anyone have any experience with this controller? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999171

They lower the fan voltage down from the default voltage using a rheostat. So it's either 12v or 11v and descends from there. So basically, no you can't overvolt and burn a fan with a fan controller.

Its a nice looking 6 channel controller but can only put out 7w per channel as opposed to:

Rheobus Extreme

Which can put out 30w per channel which means you can basically throw any fan at it or double up fans per channel.

The LEDs on the knobs might get on your nerves but they are easily modded to tone them down.

Hope I helped

So Im finally going to get around to buying clips to a pair of Deltas I found. But the power connectors are just regular 2 pin connectors and I was wondering if these are controllable or not?
edit: I know 3 & 4 pins are, but not 2 pins....
