Default Are my temps normal for this cooler?
I recently noticed that much better motherboards and CPUs are getting within my price range, so I decided to crank up my overclock to see what I can get.

CPU is at 2.746GHz @ 1.42v, 60C max in a 20 minute stress test (still running). Sound about right, or do I need a reseat?

That sounds good as far as I know, and you are pretty well within specifications at that temp.

I can hear this chip begging for more, but my motherboard (lacks voltage)/cooler(0.05v increase jumped 6C?) just doesn't have the balls.

When I upgrade my PC, I may look for a used mobo on here just to see how far I can push it before something breaks.

EDIT: I stopped the test and my temps dropped 13C in 2 seconds. D:
