Everyone gets different temps. That is why I don't put as much stock in reviews and benchmarks as I used to. Every person's experience differs.
I saw the same temps with IC Diamond and OCZ Freeze, whereas MX-2(using currently on 2 rigs) gives me temps that are just a few degrees higher.

OP You really can't go wrong with any of those. All I know is that AS5 is inferior to all of the aforementioned TIMs.

Difference is negligible unless you are extremely pedantic about temperatures which I don't think the OP is. If you have a tube of AS5 hanging around, I wouldn't go out of my way to get a 1C drop in temperature.

Currently I own AS5, but I am thinking of getting OCZ Freeze for my new i7-920 build. So you are saying that it is only 1C drop between the two ? under load conditions ?

OCZ Freeze is cheaper and better. Dropped temps (from As5) about 3C extra.

Benchmarkreviews.com seems to think that both are about the same.
