In my particular setup, when I installed the Megahalem, my temps stayed basically the same , maybe 1-2C higher than IFX. If you have the case and time to lap the cooler, the IFX will win heres a picture for fun. (IFX14) Intel Burn Test Maxed out @ 58C with Ambients 23C with P95 i barely top over 45C 4.3GHz @ 1.34Vcore.

Depends what fans, low cfm fans: the ifx wins; high cfm fans the ifx plateaus and the mega wins.

coz the ifx-14 is only $62, and comes with a free ifx-10. while the megahalems is $60 and the ifx-10 costs $20. i could save $20 if the main ifx-14 without the backside cooler is sufficient enough to hold out against the megahalems. but if it doesn't, i'll be willing to pay $80 for the megahalems+ifx-10.
