Default Dark Knight wins

I know I just was seeing if someone could answer my question about the bracket that is missing. Its screwed in with the X plate. Will this setup work with the Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight comes with a bracket for 775... Wait, do you mean the tooless clip bracket is gone?

You only need that for clip-on heatsinks. Most good aftermarket heatsinks require you to remove it anyway since they use bolt-thru mounting kits. As long as you have the back plate you should be okay.

Default Dark Knight

Which back plate? the one on the mobo right now or the one coming with the Dark Knight? There should be a back plate to the one I have correct? lol I hope. Am I going to have to remove my motherboard for installtion of the Dark Knight?

Is there anything better than the dark knight or should I stick with it!!

No, I think the AVC would win. It has a really cool shape in case you didn't notice. It obviously took them a long time and cost them a lot to make, do you really think they'd do that with an underperforming cooler?
