Default case air pressure

I'm looking at getting an Antec Solo for my i7 build (which will be air cooled) and I had a question about positive and negative case air pressure. The front grille of the Solo will accommodate 2 92mm fans and the rear exhaust 1 120mm fan. Would I be correct in assuming that for optimal case air flow I would want 2 identical fans to bring in air from the front and expel air from the rear to achieve as equal air pressure as possible? Since having 2 identical fans is obviously not possible, would it be better for cooling to have slightly negative or positive air pressure?

FYI, I am looking at using Nexus DF1209SL-3's for the 92mm fans and a Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F for the 120mm. Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

You won't create a true pressure differential just by having fans of different powers on the front back. I would say have stronger fans in the back to get the hot air generated by the CPU out. In the front just make sure its well ventilated and facilitating the process of bringing air into the case so it doesn't have to pull air through cracks, etc.

For maximum draw of hot air out of your case (and least amount of turbulance) you want to have Negative air pressure. I have 7 fans in my case. 3 going in 4 going out and I got maybe ~60CFM that is missing going out (wrong way of doing it) <.< If I take out two of my case fans and make it so it is positive I get an increase it temps of almost 3C

So you're suggesting more air being pushed out than pulled in, correct?

No. I mean for more air to be pulled out of the case than being pushed in. The air in my case moves for the front to the back gets exhausted out the bag via 4 fans.

Basically this is what I am saying:

Positive air pressure causes turbelance in the case's air flow which makes hot spots. If you have more air going out then going in, that changes. The air has no choice but to evacuate your case and those hot spots are reduced.

That's basically what he said before but from a different perspective.

alright, so negative air pressure would be a good thing. any recommendations for the heat sink (Megahalems) fan? another Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F or should I go for something a bit faster?

Please put your system specs here

We really need your system specs if were are to help you out more.

What processor do you have?

What case do you have?

Do you care about sound (how loud the fan is)? If not get some slipstream 110CFM fans (2000RPM) going out and some lighter fans that move less going in.
