Then what's the point in buying an overkill/overloud/overpriced fan if you're going to run it at less than it's rated speed?

...and there ain't no noise cancelling headphones that are going to cancel 65dB.

But hey, get 'em if you want. They *are* fun to play with...

After watching that video, it sounds more like a high speed power drill (much better than the jet presses but seems to have that high pitch squeal).
How does where we work have anything to do with this? I've been exposed to much louder noises than a high speed fan, yet that doesn't make it any more comfortable to sit and listen to it scream away.

Okay sure, but why would you want that in your computer? You want to come home from work and sit next to that thing?

Again, more power to the OP...but I'd rather not have a fan in my computer that requires hearing protection to operate!

So how about that, if i replace back panel, side panel, and meglahem with 3 of the 252 CFM fans, and keep my other 3 antec case fans?
Would that be able to regulate all 6 fans, if all antec ones/delta ones are hooked up to different slots?

One of those delta fans needs 48w to run at 12v. It wouldn't even turn on with that fan controller. Actually, it'd probably fry the controller. My buddy did that by hooking too many fans up to one channel before.

Well, that fan controller says 60w per channel, would that work fine?

Yeah that should work. Do realize this whole thing is pointless though, correct? You'll get like 1-2C better, MAYBE, at the expense of your sanity of hearing those fans going all the time.

I dont care much about the noise...though I can't speak for my mom
One problem though...is there any retail store that sells that specific fan controller?

Lol you'll care about the noise. You don't seem to think I'm serious. Put a shop vac next to you and turn it on low. That's what its going to sound like.

I don't know of any major store that would carry that fan controller. I've heard bad things about it if you put low wattage fans on it anyway, so 99.9% of people wouldn't want it.
