yes that is overkill the vibration alone is something I wouldnt like basically making contact with my cpu. When those spin that fast etc they wobble I have several deltas ranging from 78 all the way to 140 for a 127mm set I have adn they really start to wobble etc. after 130 cfm

EDIT:
__________________Well, i just noticed the ones that push 252 CFM... http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/de12pfexhisp.html Again, noise isn't a factor. But how would some of these also fare for case fans? (in my antec 900)

Those Delta fans are overkill for the Megahalems (I was thinking about getting them as well), or any other heatsink for that matter. Better step down on the fans and get the AFB1212SHE Rev.C version. One should be enough for powerful fans such as Delta (two will only give you 1-2*C lower at best) since the exhaust fans on your case isn't strong enough to pull out the air from inside.
__________________They make great case fans as intake and exhaust, but noise is definitely a huge problem. Get a fan controller such as the Sunbeam Rhoebus Extreme or Lamptron FC-2 to control powerful fans like Delta. Might have to get a Lamptron Baybus controller if using more powerful fans.

__________________All my current case fans are Antec Tri-Cools, which come with the case. I have them all on high except for one, which means they all are 72 CFM, am I wrong? So I should get the first Delta fan that i posted for the Megahalems, and the 252 CFM ones for my case exhaust and side panel?

Total overkill for case fans, or CPU cooler fans.
Those will be beyond loud. To the point where you can hear your computer on the other side of the house like it was sitting next to you. Even a fan controller won't slow those down to reasonable levels, plus you'll need one hell of a controller.

I wouldn't dare use one of those. It would be like playing a game with a car running a few feet away from you. :P
