Oh. I found some more info on OCZ Freeze:
http://www.ocztechnology.com/display...zeInstructions That should clear things up on how to spread it.

Noctua fans are silent fans, not high performance fans, so you can't expect to have great temps using them.

AS5 is the only thing I spread like butter. If you have an s1283 or DK you need to fill in the gaps on the heat sink's bottom. Then put a glob (I do one that is 5-7mm across) in the dead center of the CPU and plop her down and tight her.

Look at the bottom of the Megatron and maybe scrub it with a tissue and you will find one direction has less resistance than the other! That is because it has these little tiny grooves or ridges that are hard to see, cuz they're so small. I think it also helps spread out the tim too.
So don't lap it!

Oh wow, so thanks for all the help people. I will give rep to those who helped.
So here is my plan Lap - NO Push-Pull - I will get a 2nd S-Flex F (and maybe just turn them down a little, since they are the loudest fans in my case) TIM - I will clean my CPU and heatsink off, and do a new dot of TIM on the center and set the heatsink directly down on it.
