Best 775 heatsink Period.
As stated what is the most effective heat sink.
here is my criteria price: unlimited performance: unlimited socket: 775 Note: please don't refer me to water cooling

The Xigmatek Dark Knight (AKA s1283), Megahalem, or the Mugen-2. Hell the Ultra-120 is good after you lap it really good. All of these are really good when you put a 120mm x 38mm fan on them (like an Ultra Kaze 3000RPM, San Ace 1011, etc...) Particularly the Mugen-2 and Megahalem. I believe both can be configed with a push/pull really easy.

What about time? If you're just looking for the best performance then the Prolimatech Megahalems is the best of the best, with push/pull 38mm panaflos as well.
If time is unlimited then the TRUE fanboys would tell you that if you lap it, pressure mod it, dip it in the blood of a freshly sacrificed goat, and stick 2 giant ass fans on it then it will beat a stock Megahalems.

The best period.
IFX-14 I dont care what people say, when this thing has 3 fans, and is lapped. It will beat any other heatsink. It will roast the true, and the megahalem.

believe it or not, I am new to air cooling (i usually water cool) just thinking i should try plain old air(because its cheaper) thanks
