Too bad pictures wont load.
__________________btw. i reapplied Noctua cooler with Artic Silver 5. Temps seem to be lowered by ~1-2, which is not much. Oh and additional fan wont fit on noctua, since the cpu position on this mobo is very close to exhoust rear fan. ![]() Also, i'v got bunch of voltages on auto - does they affect heat in any way? SB core voltage NB<->SB HT voltage CPU VTT voltage SB standby voltage

Hey, i just find out that tjmax for my cpu should be 90°C!! I had set 100°C until now.
__________________http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/intel-...ews-29460.html Well, i set it to 90 and temp is 40°C on idle. Please tell me, is it correct to use 90 tjmax? ps: sorry for double post :-/ just got excited for a second lol

It could explain why my cpu gets so hot even with hardly no vcore if it really was a 90c one.

I'm wondering if it has to do with your case. I just looked up a few reviews of the ATCS 840, and the consensus seems to be that it's just so large that stagnant pockets of hot air tend to get created in it. I'm not sure if the fans are variable speed like they are on an Antec 900, but if they are, try turning them up to full. You also might want to try running p95 with the side of the case off and see if that helps.

Real high idle temp..but I am surprised that under load it only goes up 10c, did you run prime to get that high load? I'd think it should still be idling at 40c or so at the highest.

That's quite possibly the problem. Set the CPU Vcore manually.
