I lapped a Scythe Shuriken and put it in my NESputer (link in sig), and it friggin idles at ambient! This thing is the most awesome low profile cooler I have ever seen! It is no taller than the stock AMD cooler either! Woot!

Idle: 17c
100% Load: 44c

for duals i think the shuriken is good, but for quaddies id go with the zipang. and even with the 6 zipang heat pipes, it wont come close to a xiggy still.

shuriken looks like the OEM AMD HSF for the 920 and 940
the 920 said foxconn on it though, which i'm currently using

LOL look at my build and you'll see why I went with the Shuriken. I'd like to see somebody try to fit a Xiggy in an NES .

im not sure ambiant is possible on air with that but that supercomputer is frigging sweet man great job +1 ive always liked sythe, especially their mahusive coolers

Well it runs at ambient with 0% load for about 30mins, before the heat builds up in the case . I didn't think it was possible either, but apparently it is!

is the 5000+ a brisbane, all the athlon x2 that where brisbanes has borked temps sensor's my 4400 x2 always reported at being 30c and under.

Yeah it's a Brisbane, but the load temps read just fine and the idle isn't stuck, so I doubt the readings are wrong.
