Default Xigmatek Cooler Q's

I have already established that I cannot fit a HDT-S1283 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233003
in my sig case

So my question is what is the difference and recommendation for these coolers.
I see that one has a spoiler and am not sure what that's about. And the other thing I have been hearing is that you have to mount them so that they blow air up or down in your case and not straight out the back. Is that true?

NEPARTAK S983 http://www.xigmatek.com/product/air-nepartaks983.php
and the
HDT-S963 http://www.xigmatek.com/product/air-hdts963.php#2

What would you recommend?

I know the 963 was just a shorter version of the 1283. No clue on the differences between the two, but the "spoiler" is just and extra gizmo that supposedly directs air to components on your motherboard. Pretty useless in my opinion, so mine (from my 1283) is not attached.

EDIT: I would go with the Nepartak, because the heatpipes are size 8 instead of 6. bigger (wider) heatpipes should mean better cooling. It just looks like an updated and a little bigger version of the s963. You're not gonna miss anything with not having the spoiler, although I bet the s983 has one too, it's just not pictured.

Bump, do people not know what way the HSF's mount? Do they blow up and down or can they be configured to blow backwards out the exhaust fan?

With relation to the case, an Intel mounted Xiggy will blow either front to back (preferred) or back to front and an AMD mounted will blow top to bottom or bottom to top (preferred).

Get the Nepartak. It's better than the 963.

Also, you can mount them any way you like in an Intel system.
Intel uses pushpins.

I would recommend getting a crossbow kit (bolt through) for these coolers though. Pushpins sucks for mounting pressure.
