i've surfed a few newegg, tigerdirect, dell, memoryexpress fan controllers, but I need one that's not to extreme on led, but not void of led. I'd like to get one with "decent" led functions.
I'm building a laptop cooler, but I want to control the 4x 120mm fan's under the laptop to effectively ice the puppy (as much as air based possible). I'm stuffing in my custom laptop cooler a psu, 350-450watt, nothing "to" extreme, but enough to provide "extra" amperage for the controller so it can actually work 24/7 if needed... I'm needing the fan controller to adjust fan speeds on the 3 OR 4pin connector if at all possible... * Fan URL for the fan of choice i'm using * Scythe S-FLEX™ S-FDB 120mm Quiet Fan, Med Flow Any suggestions? Tips for best? Preferably Canadian destination orderable! Thanks in advance! - Le_Loup

Read the general reviews, unfortunately not.
I'll re specify the fan controller i'm looking for on OP. Thanks though.

You could use splitters and put more than one fan per channel on this one.

I`ve ordered the kaze master ace from memory express, and a decent psu that`ll handle the fans more then enough (and look nice) from newegg + 7x fans also.
I`ll start a project thread in the next few days once I have some pic`s uploaded to the laptop. *Can`t wait to start on my project!!!!!*

With the Kaze Master Ace, make sure you dont use more then two fans per channel. The MK only puts out 1A per channel. As most fans require ~450mA, 2 is the max you'll want to use.

The rear fans i'll be just using for direct air in, and cooling it. I might slip stream it into 3 fans all in a row, no space, to seriously cool the air for it. ![]() Truly deserves a rofl, rofl copter I'm not sure how to put here... hehe.
