Default Highest Cfm quality 140mm?

Has anyone confirmed that the Scythe Maru only has err bolt holes for a 120 mm slot or just has them in addition. I've seen conflicting information on it. I'm looking for the most air flow from a 140 mm slot regardless of noise.

If so, the Yate Loon 1400 rpm 140 mm is the way to go?

Yeah, 140mm fans aren't very common just yet and although they would theoretically provide higher CFM at lower noise levels, there just aren't many adopters. The only people I can think of that make decent ones are Yate Loon and Scythe... If you really need it to be 140mm, get a Yate Loon. If you're really about high CFM and great performance, consider a 120mm instead.

Towards my op, the scythe maru mounting brackets only fit a 120mm mounting slot, but need 140mm x 140mm of clearance. Kind of a go figure deal.

^?

I'm looking specifically for a 140mm fan to fit a 140mm slot. Got a storm scout in mail through boredom as much as anything else. Will continue hunting for the yate loon higher speed fan.

Thanks for the info though.

The Storm Scout has mounting holes for both 140 and 120 fans, I have the scout and I'm running all 120 fans and it's been working great!
