Default Quick, I Need Help!

Ok I am in the middle of putting my i7 system together but the 120 x 38mm Panaflo fan on my Megahalems wont let me install my Corsair Dominators Memory sticks. I need help deciding on a fan, I found this one and it seems quieter and pushes more air than my Panaflo. I need your guys input what do you think: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/69...-_1096CFM.html

If you have recommendation pleas let me know I need to order it ASAP so I can get my computer up and running.

faked specifications are faked.... that thing probably pushes more along the lines of 80cfm at 38dBA. Also, the static pressure won't be anywhere near your Panaflo 120x38. Go ahead and get it, but you'd probably lose 7-10C vs the Panaflo IMO.

Well what do you recommend. It has to be 120 x 25 and not louder than 40 db. How do you know that the specification are faked, do you hate cooler master or just really like panaflo's because a lot of people say that the specifications are fake without actually trying something out

Cooler Master's stated specifications for their fans tend to be untrue and they don't have much of a following for a reason... I never consider myself a fanboy or hater - I just get what's good. That aside, I would suggest Scythe S-Flexes and putting them in push/pull if you can... I've heard they have some of the best static pressure in the 120x25 range

Man i wish I could do push and pull. I was originally gonna do that but the heat sink on my EVGA X58 SLI doesn't give me any room for another fan. When looking at fans does it state what the static pressure is ?

I can't find any Scythe S-flexes than push that much air?

Generally no, but if you ask around, most people will tell you the same thing about S-Flexes. They're about as good as you can get for 120x25s without breaking the bank or having to spend ages searching around. They'll still be 5-7C behind a good 120x38, but that's about as good as you'll manage without selling off the dominators for a more 120x38 friendly set

Is it possible to mount the cooler so the fan blows towards the top of the case?
