I am planning to upgrade my F7pro as it was originally bought for an e8400 but last week I swapped a new q9550 for my old Anarchy Online mmorpg account
__________________ ! I have just received paypal payment for the e8400 so am looking to spend a bit more on cooling.I am planning to get a Dark Knight but I do not know if it will fit my p5q pro with reaper ram modules, has anyone tried this combination that can tell me if it is go/no go? The F7 is a tight fit with the ram heatsinks against the fan cage. From the pictures it looks as if I would have more room with the DK but if anyone can confirm this for me I will be very pleased as my temps are a bit high for my liking if I push the overclock any further with the current hsf. (70c with IBT).

I have the Dark Knight and the cooler does not even reach the ram, since the motherboard layout from the p5q-pro is similar to p5q-deluxe, I am sure you will have no clearance problems.
As for the dark knight, I am getting 45C idle and 70C load on stock, I am a bit disappointed by the cooler, I tried several attempts to reseat it, but I guess its probably because I only have 2 crappy fans (stock cooler master fans) in my case, and I am using a crappy TIM. I'll be sure to purchase OCZ freeze and some fans see how my temps are.

It will totally fit as long as your cooler is oriented to blow front to back.
Edit: My temps are about 45c idle and 55c load on my sig rig.
