New to Overclock.net

CPU cooler
So I need a new cooler. My Athlon idles @ 46C and the stock cooler is waaaay too loud. My budget is $50 US and I'm buying from www.newegg.com. So far from what I've looked at my best choices would be:
Xigmatek S1283 Xigmatek S1284 (what's the difference between the 1283?) Sunbeamtech Core Contact Freezer Tuniq Tower 120 Any advice would be appreciated  .

If you're looking for a new CPU cooler for the AM2/AM2+/AM3 socket and don't want to spend all the extra money on a Megahalems or TRUE, get the Scythe Mugen 2. It's cheap, effective and pretty darn sexy. On the downside... it's huuuuge. Here it is for $36.99 If you're looking for aesthetics and not just sheer performance, get the Xigmatek Dark Knight. $45 with free shipping
